  • Children must be at least 5 years old to register for camp.

  • Nope! No riding or horse experience is required for camp! CHF Camp is actually a great place to start you child’s riding journey.

  • Children should wear riding clothes and boots if they have them. If they do not have riding clothes, they may wear any long pants and a shirt that is barn-friendly and comfortable in the heat. For sun protection, long-sleeve athletic tops are a great option. Close-toed shoes are a requirement, and something with a small heel is ideal for riding safety.

Campers should bring a lunch and snacks, lots of water, sunscreen, a bathing suit and towel, and a change of clothes just in case. If they have a helmet, they should bring it with them as well. For those that have riding boots, it is strongly encouraged to bring a comfortable pair of close-toed shoes to wear around the barn when not riding.
